I wouldn’t be this far in my personal growth journey if it weren’t for podcasts. For the past two years, I have filled many mornings, evenings, workdays, train or plane rides listening to the sound advice of some of the greatest thought leaders around today.
Podcasts provide an engaging and convenient way to hear the words of some of the world’s leading thought provokers. Not only are podcasts a great way to stay informed, but they are also quickly becoming a popular medium for listeners to learn and grow. In this article, I share five of my favourite podcasts on encouraging your personal growth journey. I present five notable Podcasts on Personal Growth in no particular order of favouritism.
1. Almost 30
Krista Williams and Lindsey Simcik met during their Saturn Return and created the Almost 30 podcast together. The show is aimed at women and focuses on wellness, spirituality, and self-development. In addition, they offer a mini podcast Morning Microdose that encapsulates 5-10 minute conversations of a show airing on Almost 30. It has become the favourite part of my morning routine!
2. The Melissa Ambrosini Show
I admit, that I will forever be biased toward someone sharing the same name as me. Even more so when that someone offers a plethora of tangible advice and wisdom that speaks to your soul. Melissa regularly interviews some of the world’s greatest thought leaders and experts. Plus you will instantly fall for her cute Aussie dialect.
3. On Purpose with Jay Shetty
Jay brings with him a plethora of spiritual knowledge thanks to his years of living as a Buddhist monk. The lessons he learned living as a monk Jay relays back into modern world advice and wisdom for individuals of any walk of life. He invites countless famous names onto his show including celebrities and thought leaders from around the world.
4. The Mark Grove Podcast
Formerly known as the Spread the Love podcast, Mark is here to share the journey of the Human Experience. Topics range from mental, emotional and physical health, to relationships and connection. His authenticity and eloquent way of delivering real talk are sure to make their way into your podcast library.
5. The Mel Robbins Podcast
Listening to Mel feels like sitting down with a friend or a really cool mom who offers the best advice. Her demeanour is coated in sheer warmth and relatableness making you want to hit play on the next episode before the current one has even ended. Mel’s podcast is the equivalent of an audio hug.
